I know there is a lot of data on the board and I have done some digging to get a general idea of component needs and have bought accordingly. If all goes according to plan and my stuff ships before Xmas as I was told I will start swaging bullets between the 20th of December and 2nd of January while on leave. I have a lot of powder and can shoot most of the combinations members of the board are shooting. I would like to get a base-line of data that guys are using successfully. I have three breach-plugs and will modify them to reflect most common set-ups. I need data for the 275gn bullets (BE, EMAX, MH), 300gn bullets (BE, MH), 310gn bullets (APB), and 327gn bullets (MH). I do not need/want any sabot data as I will only test a few in a stock Savage and a NULA for stability and Precision and I have a good idea of what those two guns like. I would like contributions to be in the following format so I can easily put them into an Excel document for testing purposes:
1. Barrel Make, Bore and Groove Diameter, Rate of Twist
2. Breach Plug configuration
3. Smooth-Form or Full-Form with approximate bullet diameter after sizing and/or estimated loading pressure
4. Bullet Type and Weight
5. Powder Type and Charge
6. Average Precision and at what distance
As soon I get all the data analyzed I will start shooting the bullets to insure they are balanced/stable and to see what precision looks like. For the data that shows the most promise in my test guns I will send test batches out to the contributing members for further vetting. Moderators, if this is the wrong place and this needs to be in the sub-board feel free to move it. Thanks in advance.

Keith. Here is what I shoot and it regularly shoots less than 1/2 moa at 100 yards.
Barrel: Krieger and Brux .450-.458 1-20 twist.
Hankins Ignition System (HIS)
Smooth form bullets with very light loading pressure.
Parker 275 Grain BE.
78 grain charge of IMR4198
Less than 1/2 MOA at 100 yards with a muzzle velocity of 3000 FPS.
Hope this helps, hope you get some bullets done for the 45 and can progress on to the 40 caliber line....
Thanks Jeff..

Waiting on a part for my gun. As soon as I get it I can forward you 2 or 3 different combos. I don't have a chrono. Will you require pics? I know in the past if there weren't pics it didn't happen

brux .450-.458 6g 1/20 twist heavy contour barrel brux #19
hankins ignition .044 plug
smooth die-bullets after sizing .450 loading pressure-maybe 5 lbs- 2 fingers on rod to get it down
parker 327mh
I4198-73.0gns
.3-.5moa out to 200yds....no actual groups at 500 but singles hitting the mark suggesting that it will print approx. .5 in good conditions @ 500yds **had to use my limited supply of bullets wisely- the 500yd launch's were to confirm my past wind deflections from a prior gun..the results were the same with this new gun regarding wind deflection.**

Bump it up. I'm about to get ready to load for my new rem700ml brux 45 conversion using 310APB bullets. Still a newbie and not sure where to start on the FF loading pressure? going to go light charge maybe 70gr H4198 to start...
