suggest that each person get just 1 entry. Might not be fair for multiple entrys for guys in places with more liberal take regs like here. I have always contributed and will continue to do so even without the incentive of a free SML. But If we get an entry for each donation I'll certainly not hesitate when it comes time to pull the trigger, LOL, like I ever did hesitate. best to all. 10

I believe in his original post it says one entry per person and thats as fair as it can be.

This is a very nice gesture on your part Cole. I donated a deer to hunters against hunger on 12/31/14. I also try to help out the less fortunate by donating at least one deer every year. I didn't fill my any deer tag yet in Ohio so I still may be able to get lucky and be one of the first to enter.

Thank you Myers! What an exciting and gracious offer. Doe donated to Feed the Hungry Program. Tackas Meats, Toledo OH on Saturday Jan. 3 during Ohio's ML season. (taken Friday night before) Shot with my Henry Ball 50 cal. It was one of the biggest does I have ever seen, so I asked the butcher to hold it up to I could take a pic before I left.
Can't download pic... says website beyond it's allowance or something like that?
Thanks again!

I donated a doe my last day I got to hunt before season ended for me. January 1st,2015 doe killed with muzzleloader. Don't have pics or receipt but check # was T55250152001. I always try to fill my freezer first but I attempt to at least donate 1-2 deer a year. This is a very cool gesture on your part!

Just send me an email or pm when you have an entry and good hunting fellas! I didn't shoot it in 2015 so I felt it would not be the right thing to do. I have until The Super Bowl to get it done this season if not it was not meant to be.

The deer rut through out the United States has been over for well beyond a month now. Here in Arkansas we had a small post rut frenzy a month after the main action to get the little yearlings that came in but sadly, other than that, its done for this season. www.fieldandstream.com/rut-report

Well that's interesting and a very good read!! It has always been my understanding that the rut was dictated by solunar conditions, the amount of sunlight in a day. Now I'm the one confused Learn something new everyday I guess.
Nice deer by the way, and I really like your wench on the back of your wheeler

I really don't think anyone know for sure what triggers the rut. 80 miles East of me by Georgia line rut been over. Best thing to do is look for sign
Yea that winch on the wheeler really comes in handy if you are by yourself and need some assistance. Also works well for field dressing.

2015 reminder as the seasons approach, I have about 25 entries right now. That seems like way too easy of a win to me! Get out there and do some good for your neighbors in need. Thanks guys.

I killed 5 and gave the family a lot, 1 of the best years I have had in a long time, low #s on this end of the state limit kills, they have cut it down to 2 bucks this year trying to put a monster behind every tree,Im about to go back to small game hunting full time, too many Trophy hunters want to tell you what you should shoot,

If this season is anything like the past, we will be donating a few to Venison Donation Coalition NYS. In addition to helping feed the hungry in the area, we have an extra incentive with a great opportunity to win a custom SML..... Great idea and extremely generous!
