Have a Viper 4-16-50mm scope on the way. Have a 26" Brux barrel on my ML11.
Do you think a DNZ medium mount will fit?
Unsure about Amazon's return policy if I would order both med and high and just return the other. They speak of unopened products being returned but not sure if the packaging allows opening without destroying it?

The package just pops open, some I've received had a staple or two on the edge but that's easy to remove/replace.
Medium should fit depending on contour and taper in front of the lug. In the build section under .408 Savage Target action there is a picture showing DNZ medium and 50mm Leupold VXR. It's very close, but does not touch.
Hope this helped.

I have been looking at 45Omega's pics all day. It looks like its gonna be real close. Since I don't have the scope yet its anyones guess whether it's bell is larger or smaller than the Leupold + the difference in the shank diameters.

I don't remember exactly how high it was off of the barrel but I know the neoprene cover than came with the scope wouldn't slip between the scope and the barrel.

That is the same with mine but its a Pacnor with a 4-16x44 Burris Signature Select AO. It doesn't touch but it can't go any lower, the mount is DNZ 1" med.

You could just contact DNZ directly. I have done it before and they are helpful and prompt. You would need to know the critical dimensions of barrel diameter, scope bell and tube size etc. for them to reply correctly. Now this is apples to oranges again but with a 56mm scope on a pencil barreled 700 .243 I was able to use the low. When I wanted to use the 56 mm scope with a 30mm tube on a large shank MLII things did not work out with the DNZ the way I wanted and I ended up going another route. I once got one DNZ from Optics Planet and they were excellent when I had to return one once.

Wow, That is nice and tight RubberDuck. Until I have the scope in hand I guess I won't know for sure.
