Good shooting. How do you like that scope?

Good shooting. How do you like that scope? Not a bad scope for $300. Gets a little blurry after 14x. Its definitely not a VXR.

How's the loading pressure compare now that you have left it dirty and went back out? Wondering how much crud if any the 4895 is leaving in the barrel and if it was making loading any tougher?

I started on a clean bore since I had cleaned the plug I went ahead and did the bore. Bore Tech Eliminator pulled a good bit of copper fouling out. H4895 does not seem dirty to me. Normally the first load on a dirty bore is the hardest but no hammer needed. Once started I seat with nice smooth 2 hand resistance. 33 shots so far with this gun and no misfires. The majority of the 33 shots were with single powder loads.
Next trip I will be trying McGowen45's 10X duplex.

Thx for sharing. Keep us posted. I asked because I left my savpac sit dirty/empty for a few days, when I went to reload it, I had to hammer down the ceb. This was after shooting N110/Varget. I didn't trust the load since I had to hammer it down so I fired it off when I got to my dads, it was fine, but I immediately reloaded and it was back to normal 1 hand easy loading.. lesson learned, 110/varget leaves a crud in the barrel if ya leave it sit long...

most any of the loads I shoot will leave residue that hardens after several hours making loading more difficult. If I plan to hunt after a shooting session I will go ahead and load and put tape over the bore so I know its loaded.
the cleanest powder I shoot by far is N-120, leaves just a bit of ash in the barrel but its a pretty clean burner..

Nice looking gun and groups. Looks like you may need to hold a auction if you ever want to part with it.
