I'm waiting on another breech plug creation from myers129 as well...if you guys would stop interrupting his work maybe I'd get it He does do good work. The plug Dave W is talking about really brought out the potential in my gun. The original SMI plug would bulge and actually blow up primers with powder loads over 60GR of IMR4198 as the primer hole did not totally enclose the primer. With the new plug, which is a Savage style and encompasses the entire primer, I can use 70GR of 4198 with a 275BE and 300BE. It kicks like a mother tho. Now I got a FF die on the way from Swinglock so it's back to the drawing board again. I believe I may be able hit something out to 400 meters but time will tell on that.

Very nice work. It looks like I might have found someone new to help me modify these guns.

That was the first thing I told Dave also! Love that stock and have several but the color Dave has is a favorite, like it a lot better than my tan. Thanks for letting me do the work Dave! Some pics I took during destruction Hogged out, Dave's B&C had a big air void under the ejection port, thank God I didn't break into the outer surface! Full of devcon now. My 8' milling table, not everyone can have a setup this nice! A new (to me) and hopefully better way to open up for bedding, especially on these aluminum block stocks.

I thought I saw a body hanging in the reflection of that expensive machine. But I don't care who is hanging in that nice shop when you do that kind of work. I've been watching old True Detective episodes.

Looking good!! What's that hog weigh in at? Approx. 11-12 lbs. Cole, you might want to check into Rogaine for that hair loss problem. Thanks for the work you did, very well done and I am extremely pleased. May send you another project next spring.

How much dog hair did I leave you!! I hope it was just stuck to that tape on the outside of your case. Guy had a heck of a time even getting inside to see his rifle.

I left the one on the barrel in the first pic on purpose. There were only a couple more but I exagerrated a little. Payback for that pic of my gun tore down with the hammer and pliers close by. Pretty confident you were coerced by some wiseguy. Thanks again for the donor Deadeye.

Great looking setup, Dave. Happy to see that I'm not the only one who will still use an Elite.
Great looking everything, Cole. Got a feeling that I'd better make up my mind about that possible barrel rework job......you ARE about to get real busy!!
