One is for sale on Modernmuzzleloader.com Probably 1/4 the price of bestill's just posted. Very nice gun but lets be clear it is definitely not capable of smokeless loads. And im certain it uses plastic jacket primer holder which is dirty leaking mess with even heavy bh loads. And price closer to half as much! Not sure why the comparison was stated . Hope you sell it!!

I paid about $250 for mine new in box from a store in Omaha about 3yrs ago. I noticed the same seller wanted $450 for a Traditions 45 1-20.
Good luck

Pretty much what I was thinking. Ive been looking for one for a while now. I always seem to be a few minutes late when they get posted. BUT I dont want one THAT bad. If it comes to it, I made my Sav-pacs for less

Yep, my SavPac 45 cost me $900 total and it will shoot BH209 just fine with no further alterations. A DISC Original will require a Extreme conversion kit and a bare 209 conversion kit for good BH209 reliability. So now you are pushing roughly $1000 just to be reliable with BH209 and clean in the breach.

Wow is that price serious? Not everything goes way up in price just because they are not made anymore...

I have a super disc 45cal 1-20 got it new when they first came out and would never pay that for one. I have payed just a little more for my rempac smokeless 1-22 and shoots BH209 better then the knight will. but its up to the one that whats it.

Didn't mean to offend bestill. I actually think the cost of the 1:20 Knight is fair. I have a few and they shoot nearly one hole at 50 and under 1MOA at 200. This is loaded with BP and 500gr bullets like original 1:20 were designed to shoot.

No offense taken i just can't understand why you post a gun you want to sell and then compare its price to my build when you have no ideal what mine cost ?

Please don't take it personally as my comparison was only that it is way more than $750 (could have been anyone's custom) with probably no better accuracy IMO. With that, you're welcome to share the cost involved with building a custom with everyone..

$750 is way too much for that gun. Quit trying to run another members gun down to try and somehow justify that outrageous price of yours. You had no business even mentioning other members guns. I would pay double what you want for a custom from bestill before I would pay $750 for your knight.

Bestill... Get use to it.. When you have a superior product than someone else, there will always be the naysayers. The cost of materials are or not only what you have in the gun but its the time and labor it takes you to get It done. No one can work for free... Jeff

700 dollars isn't to much for the rifle , considering if want an entrance priced rifle you can shoot long range with also

I stopped bidding on the last two at $400; BOTH were NIB and neither sold for over $500.

Bestill: Thanks for being honest and open about the cost associated with a custom built. Again, I never meant to be critical of you, your rifle or the work.
