I was looking at the Federal 45/70 300 gr fusion. Federal list its bc at .29 . That sounds high to me being it a flat nose hollow point. Anyone use this bullet in a SML?

I think Rossman reported either shooting them way back or knowing someone who did. Don't recall the specific grain weight or the particulars though, but maybe search will turn up something? Not sure if it was here or the old board. Lot's of help, huh I always thought the fusion had potential with the thicker plating holding it together but possibly allowing better obturation, but never got around to trying them.

My buddy shot the 300 gr fusion out of his 45/70 marlin lever action. grouped well at 100 yrds. I was say About 1.25" Made me curious about them.
