I am going to be placing an order with Luke soon and was wondering how the 45/70 converted encores work sabotless? Do I need wads?? thanks for the help. Robbie

Imo. .060 veggie wads and ballistic extreme bullet be great choice

I have the Bullberry heavy contour. I haven't shot it sabot less yet. But I did read here on the board from a more seasoned member to be somewhat cautious about heavy loads in that profile of barrel.... I have NO experience with them myself though.

New to this board myself , I have an ENCORE WITH 26 IN 45-70 BARREL converted by Slufoot have
got lots of good advise and load recipes BUT you have to try everything, what works for me,or them may not work for you, works out about 50/50 every barrel is a different size pick out
what sounds like it well work and try it good luck this board is the best lots of good folks welling to help
