Mark, is Parker producing a MH for the .416 or are you sizing down? I don't see a .416 bullet listed on his website.

Pull the trigger on one and you know you have fired A BEAST.. they are one bad fire arm for sure, run the numbers on that baby, enough energy to kill well past 1000 yds..
good looking rig Mark..

Is that a muscle brake or one of Jeff's creations? How is the recoil with that rifle?

That is a sweet boom stick, man! Can't wait to hear the long range results! I love the shouldered barrel on the Savage. More steel on the shank is a good thing.

rough numbers for his gun and load
500 yds..........2149fps..............3588 ft lbs 1000.............1564.................1900 1200.............1371.................1462
bullet bc @.616
the .416 is impressive to say the least, after seeing Mark, Hunter and Jeff shoot theirs at the shoot Im going to get another barrel on mine and kill a deer with it this year with one of those 350 MHs. I have the barrel sitting here (1-11 Pacnor) with a brake so soon it will be on the little XR-100..

Ooooo.... XR100. One of my favorites! Will you be using the factory stock? I love my XR's for factory guns they aren't too bad.

Mark..... Looks like you got her shooting pretty darn good. I haven't fired mine since the shoot. Been to busy catching up on other things...
Meyers.. That is one of my brakes made here in the shop. Jeff.

Meyers yes its a factory stock with three pillars, the front action screw is opened to 1/4-28 and it still has the factory trigger. not too bad @ 2 lbs, breaks clean and is consistent. it will be wearing one of Jeffs plugs and a bushing (will be testing). I plan to find another XR to do a .45 on soon. neat little actions..
it now has a 1-14 Mcgowen but the flutes are a little deep and it makes me nervous so I got a Pac for it..
