The problem with Bullseye is the size of the powder granules. It seems to be neither ball nor flake but tiny granules. They are small enough that they could fit into the vent liner. I almost doubt they would (or enough of them) get back into the flame channel but............given the number of other shotgun/pistol flake powders, I would probably not use Bullseye. I would look for some shotgun flake powders in a burn rate from Hodgedon Clays to their Universal. Richard

Can you find Green Dot or Blue Dot? There are some loads in TGinPA's Hyperlinked pages 51g), 52g) starts off with several loads using BD. I've used 5gr, 7gr, and 10gr of GD with several loads with good success.
You would be plenty safe using the BD loads for 300gr bullets on TG's pages.

From Clays and Red Dot on down in the burning rate (getting slower) any of my loads would be safe using the same amounts of powder. If anything, your velocity will be lower however, you might just find a super accurate load in trying them. Richard

I will try blue dot and h 4198 I have that. I can get the 290 tez barnes to shoot at 100 yd one ragged hole but it starts to come apart at 200 yd and 300 yd is a mess so I was hoping the spike in presser will make it grab the rifling better and keep my groups together any other load suggestions would be helpful Thanks

Gives you 2700-2750fps.. I 've also used Clays, Red Dot, Unique... all of the last three seem to shoot equally well... I've found a snug fit works best with the all copper bullets. I like to size them a little loose and then knurl them to fit.. Good luck.... Zen
