I have observed leaves on the trees already starting change color due to the extremely wet and cool summer here in Michigan. It has only hit 90 degrees one time all summer and is shaping up to be an extra early fall this year. A few advanced forecasters are predicting a killing freeze in October this year www.sott.net/article/280869-Killing-freeze-predicted-for-US-Midwest-this-Fall. If this pans out it will make for a very interesting hunting season this year.

I've noticed quite a few trees shedding leaves around my woods already. Couldn't tell if the trees died from last years winter or what. I was on a road trip across Pennsylvania yesterday and thought I saw definite fall colors showing on some trees. It will be another weird year I suppose.
