Well, last week I shot my very best 5 shot 100 yard group and re-tested the 250 Parker load. My intention this week was to re-shoot the 5/65 Clays/ H-4198 load with the 200 gr. FTX to see how close to 1/4" I could get. I felt there was a lot of luck with that group and that it was probably more like a one inch type load. So I proceeded with the test..................The only thing was, I grabbed the wrong box of loads. I used the 5/60 combination instead of 5/65 and I used it for both the 100 and 200 yard targets. I did not realize it until I went to re-shoot the 250 Parkers where I was using the 5/60 duplex. It was at that point I noticed I was taking the duplexes from the wrong box. Mind you, nothing I take to range would be a safety issue with either 200 or 300 gr. bullets. That being said, you can see the load performed similar to the 5/65 load just with 100 fps less velocity. Impact was only maybe a 1/4" lower at 100 yards. It did not shoot the 1/4" bug hole but none the less was about where I thought the 5/65 load would shoot. I then took (the wrong load) out to 200 yards where it opened up to 2.9" for the five shots. I will re-shoot this bullet next week with the 5/65 load for comparison. Now with the 5/60 load I went to the 250 Parker at 200 but the results were not as good as last week at 300? Its just the way it is? But surprising, the 5/60 load with the 250 SST scored a home run with three shots in .666" Still a worthy deer load. Richard
