Just curious why the three stages? Are you annealing cases or bullets on this?

It was all just a hairbrained idea to begin, the idea with the bottom tray was to just be storage/collection, so when the middle tray gets too warm or too full, I could just dump it into the bottom tray, add fresh water and move on. No "real" reason, just got to building and couldn't stop. Lol It all seems to function very well, the spring assisted return on the top two levels worked out real well. Coming from a non engineering/welding guy like myself

I missed the spring return feature! I figured your bottom pan was for the finished product just didn't know if you were going to try to separate the water somehow. It looks like a very well done project and should get a lot of good use for years and years.

Yeah the springs arent visible in the pic, they are on the far end. It should work well for a long time as you stated, didn't turn out too bad for drawing it on a napkin and then slapping it together. Sure beats knocking them off of something with a screwdriver into a can..lol

No problem. I'll post a lil video of it in operation when I get a chance. It's overkill but handy all the same.

Ohioguy Never realized what your project was until revealed. As far as overkill I would rather construct something with overkill instead of saying not big enough or strong enough to begin with. Look forward to seeing it in operation. Looks good and functional is what counts, nicely done. Now you have to give your creation a unique ID or designation. With your good sense of humor I can imagine what you would come up with. Ed

Haha Now all I have to do is drop off several hundred bullets and tell him, no rush, just when ya get a chance.... The thing actually does work pretty slick, even tho it is definitely over engineered for the task, it will make annealing a much simpler task.

Ohioguy
I have no doubt as to its functionality it was designed for. Tools that make life easier are always worth the effort needed to make them. I look forward to hearing additional comments. Again nicely done with the ANNEALER.
