Have been spending quite some time on line trying to buy some .40 cal 200 grain XTP's and despite going to every source on the web my search engines find for me as well as the dozens of places I already know of as well as every OTC source I know of absolutely no one has any and most places won't allow back orders.
I can get XTPs in 9mm, .40 cal in 155, and 180, 45acp & 45LC, 44, 38/357, it seams I can buy juat about any XTP I want, but no 40/200 XTP's. What in the blankity-blank is going on? I could be wrong, but I strongly suspect 200 grain .40 cal XTP's are one of the less popular and there fore in less demand of all XTP's. Think about it, I guess I could be wrong, but except for use in 10mm hand gun reloading, what other HG likely uses 200 grain .40 cal XTP's? You could use them to reload in 40 S&W, but why? I doubt 200 grain XTP's are all that popular for use in reloading 40 S&W. Besides I can still get .40 cal XTP's in other weights, so I'm really at a loss for the shortage of 40/200 XTP's.
Any body know the answer to the shortage of 40/200 XTP's?

Hornady hasn't made a run in a while. Lots of back orders every where as far as components are concerned.
