The faster x-bows require a target with greater resistance to arrow/bolt penetration than do slower x-bows/vertical bows. I'm interested in what targets seem to be working well. My input is that the Block Elite is just barely adequate for the Strykeforce shooting 440g total wt, 22" bolts. This is with relatively blunt tipped 125g field points.

Tried out my American Whitetail King crossbow target this weekend and it failed miserably. At 25 yards my arrow would bury into the target to the point that almost all of the broadhead would be sticking out the back and not enough arrow on the fletching end to grab and pull out. I ended up unscrewing the broadhead and pushing the broadhead end of the arrow back out the way it came. This is a spanking brand new target!!
I do shoot 150 grain broadheads with lumenoks so the arrow is 480 grains total and I have not chronographed the shot but that YouTube demonstration seems to be bogus. I wish I had kept the box that the target came in so I could send it back.

That is very disappointing! I have not shot the broadheads yet and had hoped that that target would work edge.

Edge....let us know about your experience with the King crossbow target as this is my second one and the first wasn't this bad. It didn't last very long but when new my arrows wouldn't penetrate all the way through.

I shot quite a bit this evening with the Strykeforce. The Block Elite did very well.
