Your looking at a $750 scope if it has the Rapid Z, $650 if it has the Z-plex. I think that model is actually discontinued. If you can get it for $300 and it's in good shape that would be a deal. The warranty is still good.
The Rapid Z is like most Pride-Fowler reticles, a bit cluttered, the 600 seems to be the less cluttered.

I bought a new Savage 116 Weather Warrior in 300 WSM with aluminum bedded Accu-stock for the donor action.I had everything media blasted to match. It is sharp! Just Hunt in Wabash did the conversion for me. I used a Douglas 25 in barrel.I am using WSM 325 brass and 56 grns of H-4895 launching a 200 grn Barnes TSX @ 2850 this first round and will try som 150-160 grain pills and try to break 3000 fps. I am trying to find some info on the Super-Formance powder.

Rick thats not a 358 Hoosier thats a 358 WSSM! I hear you can break right at 3000 with a 180 gr Barnes in the WSSM platform. Pics Pics we want Pics Also Rick I checked on that Hodgdon SuperFormance powder and I think it is way too slow of a powder. For comparison your current powder H4895 is # 87 on the burn rate chart and Superformance is way down at # 126.

Regarding the Rapid-Z 600 reticle...I do not find it cluttered at all..in fact I had to adjust to the openess of it after years of using traditional crosshair reticles. I like it!

Sweet! And Rick form the numbers I ran on that round, I would say the rapid z 600 reticle will work nicely with it as your trajectory from a quick scan appears to be very close to a 308 match round out to 600 yards. But I will verify that and get back to you.

Rick I just ran the numbers and comparing the the Fed Match 168 gr match and with a 200 yard zero and all other factors being the same the drop for the 358 Just Hunt 1.8 at 600 yards is 86.4 inches and for the 308 match round has a drop of 87.9 inches.
