Got my new Weaver Super Slam Euro, it's awaiting my 700 rem/mac from Bill. So far I am impressed with this scope, can't wait to get it on the gun and try it out. This is the first weaver I've owned so idk what to expect. It was a toss up between the weaver, vortex and clearridge. They all seem to get good reviews so I went with the Weaver cause Natchez had a good deal on them plus weaver has a mail in rebate goin too. I'm a little worried that the xhairs may be a little fine for my liking in a low light situation, time will tell. So far all I can say is it seems like pretty good glass and I like the 4-20 power range. I'll get it mounted up and try it out soon.

Only got 4 shots with the new Weaver at around 100 yards. Initial thoughts are, very clear and very good zoom. Adjustments have been spot on so far. Haven't got to try any low light situations yet but I'm sure it will do fine. Only problem may be is the center x hairs are very fine, the outer edges are thicker and dark but the center is very fine, may create a problem at dark. We will see. So far I have no complaints and seems like money well spent. Time will tell.
