bullet design and hollowpoints were hashed out for a week, we decided to settle on 2 designs to start with, all new slugs were shot from my encore with 80gr by volume of triple se7en 3f, and test targets were only 27yards, for various reason, chronograph loads to follow shortly here it is this particular slug with a .400 deep hollowpoint weighed in at 212 gr, here it is wrapped in a black mmp sabot, oh btw it's a .452 slug here she is kicking up some dirt at the backstop heres a close up of the 3 shot group at 27yard, i was holding 6 oclock on the orange also fired same slugs with similar results at 27yads only difference was hollowpoint depth was .250 also hollowpoint dia is .250, kindqa neat to play with self designed slugs

In your bullet tip thoughts did you have any thoughts of leaving it a Wide Metplat? IMHO something in the size of .330 to .380 metplat would be deadly and penetrate far better. It would also shoot well. and might would make turning them easier.

Ken all in time, im sure things will change, turned just 20 total 10 with a .250 dai .400 deep hollowpoint, and 10 with a .250x.250 hollowpoint, but im open for suggestions, mainly im looking for a good shooting hard hitting slug i can use mostly on whitetails, and maybe some piggies ultimately id like to keep em near 200 grains
