The silence was to much to take! Before I knew it, I had a pretty little walker gyp in the kennel!I could not take the silence of that cur dog anymore. He does what he is bred to do,no fault there. He WILL tree you a pickup load of coons and squirrels, but not like a hound.I just missed the sound of a hound on track. ;D So, I am back in the hound business. ;D

I understand completely and I am proud you have put things back in order. In my minds eye I can still hear some of the special voices of years ago. I had a top Red Bone that did it all except he sounded like a shepherd hung up in a wire fence on track. I couldn't handle that. LOL. Congratulations, now you can learn from the voice if the track is hot, cold, in the rough or lined out. Enjoy. Ben

I have been hound hunting for a little over 30 yrs. This female is really impressing me.Easy on the eyes and hard on the ears! She is the loudest female I have ever heard.Maybe louder than any male for that matter.

"Listen, that's old Brumey in the lead"......
"No, that's Jake. Brumey is a lot more chop-mouthed"....
"Yeah, maybe........"
"Hey, that's that old fine-mouthed bitch now, she's always behind"...
"That's ok, I didn't pay much for her"
"There's Brumey again. He's got one treed up the old cottonwood tree down by the barn"
"They'll all be there in a short bit, let's go............"
The memories...........the memories.

Wilms, No hounds come in the house PERIOD.I have excellent indoor/outdoor shelter in the kennels for them.Even on bitter minus windchill days they come out with steam rolling off of them. ;D Word travels quickly that I was back into the hound game.Several offers to handle dogs have came in already.I am not going to get back into comp. hunting anytime soon.Just pleasure hunting with the kids.My buddy from Ontario is giving the kids a pup a piece from out of his dual grand females in August. And of course I needed a pup trainer so my buddy from Oklahoma is sending his 6 yr old gyp up here for me to use.I go from zero hounds to 4 in short order! ;D The kids are happy and smiling from ear to ear! ;D
