I picked up a winchester 94 the other day in 30-30. Best I can tell from the serial number its a post 64, made in 69. I always wanted a 30-30 to throw behind the truck seat for yotes and such, but this one isnt going to cut it. Its in way to good of shape to use as a truck gun. 40 years old and probably better than 95%. The kicker, it was only $125 and came with a box and a half of ammo! ;D

HossD, Nice looking rig, I agree with your lodgec I like a NEF handi rifle for the behind the seat, right beside me, in the corner of the cab, kind of rifle. or a 340 savage type rifle in any of there calibers. the singles are guick to load if you have a couple rounds in your pocket, the clip guns are handy because somewhere you will have the clip, You will be surprised when you need it you will have to look all over for it unless you have it always in the same spot ;D I have a 322 on K-Hornet. (Did the barrel work myself, the origonal chamber was off center the bore by by .005 case life was short!) a 325 in 30/30, ( this is my dedicated cast boolit 30/30) and a newer 840 in 30/30 ( this rifle is my condom wrapped bullet shooter, who says you can't shot a lot of 30 cal mil-surplus tracers out of a tirdytirdy . an I mean allot, several thou.) Ken
