I have a Walther Model 7 in mint condition. All original except the magazine has no Walther mark on it so I believe that is not original not sure. Would any one know where I could find one. I believe the model 7and 8 were interchangeably. Thanks Bob.

A Walther mag will be stamped and while the 7 and 8 mags are interchangeable IIRC there is a slight difference in construction a serious collector would know, or maybe it was later model 8 mags. The model 7 was only made a few years right about the end of WWI and the model 8 replaced it and went into WWII. I've seen a few on Ebay in the past. The place to check would be Sarco, they would have at least one hiding in the pile somewhere. Maybe not a model 7 but since model 8s were war trophies and mil surplus that would be the first place I would check.
A model 7 in mint shape might be worth some bucks. The couple I've seen didn't have much bluing left on them. There are some hard core Walther and German war arms collectors out there and like I said there were not that many made. From WWI you see more model 4s. And of course a early luger at auction is like throwing a fish into a bunch of alley cats.
