I have a Knight Bighorn on the way. Found it fairly cheap at 347 shipped. Stainless/ Synthetic. I have accumulated so many bullets and sabots over the last 3.5 years of my MLing obsession that I found it necessary to by another ML to shoot them up! How's that for rationalizing a new purchase. Also...my birthday is in a few days, so....Happy B-day to me. I'm kind of excited about the three ignition option of the Bighorn....that means more tinkering. I did a fair job at bedding three Sav ML2's and my fool around and try to bed this rascal, just for the challenge. Anyway... are there any Bighorn (26" barrel) owners out there who like it, and have a few good words to say about it? Maybe a starting place for loads. I have a jug of Blackhorn. But I will also run triple seven and maybe even Pyrodx thru it. Thanks fellers. Kevin

Kevin... I don't own a Bighorn, but my buds and me have a bunch of Knight's. Our most commonly used load is 85 - 100grs of 777 with a 300gr (.452) XTP in a short black Harvester sabot. The 250gr XTP is real accurate too. That's just a starting point, as the Knight is not fussy and will shoot well with lots of bullets/sabots. I'm using BH209 now, but 777 worked great in the Knight. Welcome to the forum, and report back how your Knight shoots.

Thanks for the replies guys. I just got my Bighorn. But DANG!! it's got a short stock! I'm 6'4" and it feels like a kids rifle. I still love it and can't wait to shoot it, but I'll have to use a slip on pad to give me an extry inch. Are there any aftermaket stocks out there for knight guns? Laminate?

A Knight stock with a LOP too short ! Now I've never heard that before Most are way too long for us midgets. Seriously, it's supposed to a 14.5" LOP. Not aware of aftermarket stocks for Knights... other than Bell & Carlson. I'll bet Knight can make up a longer, laminate... but it will probably be pricey.
