Here is trick shooting and hunting, I would like to think each hunter before he takes the field, has set in his mind, his range limit. For me, On a Moose, 250 max, Brown Bear anything over a 100 yards is pushing it. If I saw a 70 inch, once in a lifetime Moose, at 300 plus, would I shoot it.....YES, with the guide's 375.

P.S, I'm sure folks with greater shooting ability can extent my max. But its a wise man, who knows his limits and stays within them.

Wilms, of course you are right. I regard 500 yards with the Savage as a "parlor trick", only.
