Hello! Cruised over here when I read that Modern Muzzleloader was closing up shop and read about this site. I'm mostly a lurker on these boards, following along and keeping up to date on the latest development in muzzlestuffing technology. I spend most of my time on a New England based hunting board where I am a moderator.... www.huntingchat.net . I hunt MA and Maine every year since I was a little kid....

Welcome aboard! I am a NJ transplant to NC but hunted four years in Maine. I have hunted Patton, Rangely and Ellsworth. Also have a co-worker who retired to Milo and have visited there. Richard

I hunt SE MA and Central Maine around the Dexter area. I've been up there every year since 1983 deer hunting and a few years before that for birds. Not as many big deer around up there now as there were years ago. MA seems to have the big bucks now. I've got some real jaw droppers from my areas down here in MA but I'd rather hunt one day in ME than five days in MA...

I've got a lot of pictures of him, but they are all field shots, day and night. Once the acorns drop, which is before any seasons start, the deck is shuffled 100%, but that's deer hunting. Good to know that he and a couple of his buddies are around....

We still have some big deer here in Maine but you have to go deep into the big woods or cedar swamps to get them.

Thanks guys!! Been lurking quite a bit over here, going back into some old threads and such. I've hunted with a muzzleloader for a while, only recently started to think a little more seriously about it. Great stuff over here....and my SE MA deer are still taunting me! Big 9 pointer to along with the 10 pointer up above.... Both would look pretty good with a 300gr. Barnes Expander in their armpit....
