My first bedding job is complete and all in all was a success. I did have a mishap with some material getting into the scew holes and going up into the action, but removed it painlessly afterwards. My question is , what would be a reasonable amount of time to wait before I shoot it? Don't want to mess it up by being to quick with the trigger.

Most epoxy based bedding materials take no more than 24 hours for full cure at room temp. By the time you take it apart and clean it up and reassemble you shouldn't need to wait. I always wait for a really calm day so when it shoots good I feel like the work made a big improvement!

I think cleaning it up was the hardest part. The clay I used tried to leave itself behind in those tight spots.
