The 325 FTX with BCR shot real good for me (under 1”moa) with 60 gr of N120 @ 2380 fps but I want to save my scarce N120. I would like to start at about the same speed and tweak it from there. I have R7, H4198, I4198, and H322. Has anyone got load info with 325 gr. bullets? I am thinking 62-65 gr 4198. There is a lot of 300 gr info but it seems like every 25-50 gr of bullet weight powders work differently depending on pressure and burn rate. These bullets are about half the price of the BO and I can get the powders and bullets locally. I could do a lot of experimenting with these.

65gr of either R7 or H4198 have worked very well in both of my 50 cal savages at 100 yards. Haven't had a chance to try them at 200 yet.

I have shot a number of 350 grain bullets with both 4198s and RL7. About the most you can shoot with that weight bullet is 68 to 70 grains before the sabot starts to disrupt.
With a 325 grain bullet about any load in the 65 to 70 grain level would be worth trying. You can shoot considerably faster than with N120 but you'll pay for it with recoil.
H322 will work but to get it to a good working pressure it will take even more recoil.

Bowbender, I just picked up some of those bullets at Cabela's yesterday due to your prior success with them. I plan to try 65-67 grains of H4198, some H322 and 2015 since I already have them. I think the 2015 will work good but I have to research the safe load ranges to test?
