I think he needs the hides to hold that barn up! Anybody want to guess how many there are? I don't know, but sure would like to see someone else count them.

Zen I would venture he also had a little help from some # 3 double coil under spring victor traps and some hawbakers lure. Probably knows how to shoot as well as trap. Wayles

Wayles Wayne; You're probably right. The rifle is probably used to protect his investment. It sort of looks like our country doesn't it. ;D Zen

Looks like around 240 visible. Assume the same on the other two sides and you get around 500 'yotes that won't chase his chickens.

Zen Yes it does appear a lot like western NE. I would guess North or South Dakota. I used to trap during the 80's fur hay day. Made quite a lot of money. Had a house boat on table rock lake in Mo. I would haul my alum. arkansas traveler fishin boat down to the lake and take two weeks vacation. Target critters were Coon@ 40 to 50 bucks ea. grey fox @ 50. ea. coyote @ 20 to 40 bucks depending on color phase and beaver @ 10 to 25 depending mostly on size. Hours ran from about 5 am till 11: pm. I would use my old chevy suburban 4x4 to run land lines till about 8 or 9 in the morning and then jump in the boat and run the water lines. I would get back to the house boat about 4 or 5 in the evening and start skinning. Freeze the hides, shower, eat and hit the sack. I would lose about 20 # in the two weeks. I could not follow that schedule today no matter how much fun I was having. Wayles
