Hello all,
My name is robert (mike) isenhour. I lurk mostly but this forum has been extremely helpful to me, especially in load development.
I thank each of the members for their civility and non flaming attitude in providing very good and useful exchanges of information and ideas.
I am retired military, 23 years, 18 wearing the green beret. I am a gunsmith/machinist and work with Mike Davis of Davis custom guns. We build mostly long range benchrest stuff but I have built two smokeless muzzle loaders for myself and my wife and truly enjoy experimenting with them.
Once again, thanks to all the members who have taken the time to post their "experiences and data".
Mike

Airborneike............Welcome to the forum Mike! BTW, Mike Davis is a good friend of mine. I am down in the Hickory area and shoot at Piedmont and did at Hawk's Ridge. I also build those long range rifles. Any chance you might be at Piedmont on Saturday? I think we probably have a lot in common. And thanks for serving our country. Lots of good stuff here and yes, we try not to do any "flaming!" ;D. Once in a while it begins to occur but the moderators will generally remove it pretty quick. You are not related to Larry, who shoots with us? Richard

Hello Richard.
We probably do know each other, I am the old bastard who uses arm crutches to get around. I haven't been to many matches lately and yes, Larry is my brother....but don't tell anyone. I have followed many of your posts about SM and they have been a great help. Thanks. Since I am retired, I have the time to play with accurate gun builds and the smokeless muzzle loaders have been particularly interesting given my background of building high end custom flintlocks. My latest sm build was to try and shoot sabottless but I still haven't achieved the accuracy that I want...would like to "pick your brain" because you seem to have done well sabotless.
Once again, thanks for your posts and your reply, I'll try to get down to piedmont more often.
Mike
