Finish is done but ran into problem mounting the action back up- Turned out looking and feeling really nice, but having an issue with screw length. He had called Savage to get the screws for the wood stock, turns out they sent him screws for a 10MLII wood stock, which I believe is the same as the tuppeware. Rear trigger guard screw is fine, the trigger guard action screw is a bit too long which we can deal with, but the front action screw is still too short, only engaging the threads maybe 2 turns. Does anyone know the exact length screw we need for this? At this point I think we're better off just trying to find the right length 1/4-28 hex head bolt and ordering it than trying savage again.

Just PM rossman and have him send some of his screws to you then cut them to fit.
