Assuming someone doesn't want to tackle it themselves, how much does a bedding job run on a wood stock? How about pillar bedding with 3 pillars added?

Most that do bedding charge anywhere from $100-$250, some of which depend on if you are adding or modifying action screws.

For me to bed and add a third pillar it is now $150. I use Devcon (which has gone up 25%) and install a mushroom head pillar. When you look at it you spend probly $50 just in supplies (even gas taking it to get it shipped). I've seen smiths charge as much as $300 and do a very good job, then I have seen others that charge less whose version of a third pillar is a screw with a washer and their choice of bedding material is bondo from their brother-in-laws body shop.
