Well today I tried a different rest and it didn't work as well as I was hoping. I used a rolled up sleeping back on the hood of my wife's jeep and my group was okay but I am happy I am getting close to a zero. First picture is of the range set up and second is my group at 120 yards. My fifth shot is not where I wrote on the paper it is at the bottom of the target. I must have really pulled that shot. The rest of the shots is okay for now with the heat but when it gets cooler I will be back out again. Load was 200 XTP knurled harvestor blue sabot 56 grains of IMR 4198 CCI Primers Range was 120 yards Wind right to leftTarget after a 6 shot session not really a good amount of wait time between shots and temp was 82 degrees River Rat

Keep at it and it will come together eventually.
It seems that SML reveals what perseverance really resides in us. Along with a few other character traits. ;D

Good start. Looks like shot 5 went into shot 2.

Good start. Looks like shot 5 went into shot 2. Actually it went really low, I was hoping it went into shot one or another shot but when I inspected it later it went below the yellow paper. However we can go with your thoughts, it feels better!!! ;D Thanks for the comments this stuff is a lot of fun and I really enjoy reading all the other threads and post. River Rat

78riverrat, I think you should give the Hornady .410" 210gr XTP's a try and you won't have to knurl. It should tighten the group for you.
