Took the Excalibur crossbow out to hunt some hogs Sun. evening and spotted this hog with my D-760 night vision scope. He was upwind about 150 yds or so rooten up the soy bean field that I like to dear hunt. I eased up to within 20 yards of him and turned on my headlamp so I could see through my scope. Dropped him right where he stood. The arrow went high and I must of paralyzed him because the shot didn't kill him. He lost the use of his back legs and was trying to get up using his front legs. I reloaded another arrow and made a better chest shot which killed him. Hooked him up to the golf cart and drug him a good mile over to nice straight lane in the cotton field. Hope to see some yotes tonight and if I see some they will be wearing some 123 gr. Grendel ammo. ;D Attachments:

Night hunter huh? I have only hunted coons at night. Sounds fun.
