Grouse, Have you been able to wring out these bullets in a Savage smokeless using book loads yet? Billy I did shoot the .458 300grn bullet. I need to check data when i get home but i think both 4759 and N120 worked very well. N120 isnt a book load but works pretty well with both 300grn and 250grn bullets. I am working with them in making a good 275grn or 300grn bullet in .452. This will allow a bigger variety of sabot choices. I also think this will end up being really good in the Savage when i'm all done.

All you need is a short black MMP or a short black harvester sabot. You do not need a boat tailed sabot. I will see where the confusion is and try to correct it.

This is the confuseing part grouse.I copy and pasted it from lehigh's web site below From the explosive hollow point through the aerodynamic boat tail this bullet will deliver . If this is a boatail bullet ,then would not need a boat tail sabot? I have no doubt these are/can be accurate. Grouse's testing proves that.
Anyone know if there has been any independent testing on the bullets performance on game?

Anyone know if there has been any independent testing on the bullets performance on game? That's a very good point. There has been alot of testing with CF rifles. I have a few pretty good pics of performance they asked me not to post. I plan to shoot a few pigs in the next month or so. The bullets no doubt need tested in the field. I really believe they are going to be awesome by design. Check out the gel on the web page. lehighbullets.com/information/technicaldata.htm
