Want to tag along on an Ice Fishing Trip? The reservoir is drawn down 7 feet or more. I am not sure if every one has a favorite rock or not. This one ranks high on my list. An eagles nest. To the left of the nest is a pine snag. Late in the summer the eaglets can be seen trying their wings and hopping from nest to the snag. They had two this year. Short trip. I guess I have to fast forward you to the end. Batteries will not hold a charge. Ending up bringing these four home. That is really all my wife and I can eat at a sitting.

Looks like a gorgeous place to spend some time relaxing and catching dinner. I love watching eagles and they have become very common here in Southern Illinois, probably because of the wildlife refuges and all the waterfowl that overwinter here. I will get some photos of some of my favorite haunts my next trip out! God has surely blessed us all with this beautiful blue orb we call home! Thanks for sharing your little corner of heaven with us! KerryB
