Bought a trailer at a Resort on Chippewa Flowage near Hayward WI...lots of Crappie, bass, bluegill, Northern, walleye...not much luck with Muskies yet....

I learned to pickle pike so the small ones go in the live well...largemouth are very tasty coming out of this lake too...DNR wants them gone so no size limit this year.

Nothing like walking out on your own dock and going fishing! Northern Pike are not the tastiest eating fish, kind of bland to me but the do have a nice texture to their meat. Taking out the Y bone is key to frying them. Ive ate pickled pike years ago at a resort we use to stay at on Potato Lake in Wisconsin. Great musky and pike fishing, plus we use to catch monster crappies too. Mike
