One of my best associates "dutch". His girl friend of 10 years, has a tumor on her brain. She is the best woman you could ever meet, as well is he. The treatment is not responding. Surgery is Thursday. Let's pray everything goes well. Im not real religious myself, I haven't found myself or god yet but if anyone can help her it would be him.

I am not nearly as mature as a christian as many here, but I can say this. Say a prayer, it doesn't have to be formal. Just talk to god and tell him your worries. Then just tell him you want to believe (Obviously you do or you would not have asked for a prayer). Tell him about your friend and his girlfriend and their issues. Then have just a little bit of faith. Try to relax in knowing that it is in the hands of god now. And in my experience God sometimes likes to show off to those who ask him to prove it and really try to put some faith in him. he sure has with me, I did just that. I flatly stated "God, I don't know if you are real or not but if you are I really need you right now" And then went back to trying to do what I was doing. Worried sick and scared to death. All of a sudden the whole weight of all of the worry lifted off me and I had no worries or fears and I knew everything was going to be just fine. Then everything I was worried about turned out like you had read it from a script with a perfect ending. I am not saying you will get that type of blessing, If it is not his will you will not. But he has never failed to point out his presence when I have doubted or wondered and just asked. I have a good feeling he will do the same for you. I hope you will give this a serious try, God is amazing. He is God! And I will be praying for your friends. Good luck. I am glad you stepped out there and asked. it is often difficult to do when we don't believe, understand or know for sure. Like the old song says "Just have a little talk with Jesus and tell him all about your troubles"
