Me too. I went the other extreme and put a little Ruger LC9 on order for Valentine's Day. Will take a couple of months or so to get it. Just a bit bigger than the Ruger LCP 380 but shoots a full blown 9mm and will still fit in BJ pocket. Don't plan to use it for hunting but for "snake protection". Chuck, there are several LC9's on gunbroker. You can get it shipped to the same guy that ordered yours in a week or less. Joe My guy will sell it to me for $337 plus tax. Through Gunbroker current available ones are selling at over $400 plus shipping plus transfer fee plus tax. I think I will just wait a few weeks.

I took gunzilla out today.. Put about 25-30 rounds through her... My arms are sore this evening.. Naw I aint no wussy.. I am a painter waiving a paint gun around 10 hours a day.. But paint guns dont kick..lol She makes a lot of noise. Tween my son and I we put 50 through it today,,, Stopped by the store and got 100 more... gonna need the brass anyway. Also I cant hit sh** with it.. But my son can beat the center out of a target at 25 yds the first time he shoot's it. He is 6'1" 285lbs... Watching him shoot.. When he squeesed the trigger arm's locked it pushed his whole upper body back 4 maybe 6 inche's... Gonna get me a scope.. LOL its a blast.. But it aint cheap to shoot either.. Will post some pics tomorrow. drop

Aw that big ole thing should not be so bad! Put a scope on it and the weight will really tame it down. Nice piece, I bet once you figure out how to shoot it well you will kill a bunch of nice deer with it. You might get a bullseye spring kit for it and make the trigger a little sweeter while your in the development stage. They don't cost much and make the trigger much nicer.

The Redhawk is heavy and with the Tamer grips recoil shouldn't be that bad in .44 mag. One thing I did learn if shooting off a bench don't rest my elbows on the bench without a rubber pad under them. Learned that the hard way. Mike Wish I had paid attention to this sooner.... Bit my elbows a couple times befor I figured out what was going on

the ultra dot holds up to them great, and with a life time warranty. 2 or 4x would be great at the ranges you want to shoot I bought an Ultra Dot 30mm for it this weekend now waiting for the Ruger rings to get here. Hopefully Friday and then to the Range Saturday. Been shooting her a little this past week. I can keep them all in a softball circle at 50 yds with open sights..But I struggle to see them. So the red dot comes in...... Both eyes open this scope should be good... Leaving in 13 days for my hog hunt....Anxious drop

Ive got a Bushnell Holo Sight just sitting around and thought about putting it on my RedHawk but I have to buy a Weigand rail in order to install the scope. Rail is $60.00. Right now it wears a 2x Nikon UCC. Mike

Took it to the range today with the red dot.... takes a little getting used to. But I shot a 1" group at 25 yds...then backed it up with another at 30 yds... then a 2.25 6 shot group at 30 Really thinking this might be a 100 yd gun...after a lot of practise. it had a 4 moa dot so that will take some figuring out Drop

Did you get the 30mm Ultra? Put one of them on my BFR and really like it. Even with the 4 moa dot 100 yds will get easy after some practice.

Yes I got the 30mm Ultra Dot Was scared that the rings werent going to get here in time to get mounted and sighted in...Leaving for a Texas hog hunt with it next week. I was told to sight it in at a hundred and that would cover anything in between.... That sounds pretty good to me...

ok what is considered a good group with a .44mag with a ultradot on top shooting 240 gr ww white box ammo? .... thanks Drop With my .41 using Double Tap 180 Barnes XPB ammo I would call my average group size at 100yds at 3" shot on sand bag rest at the bench. Using 2x7 Burris scope. MANY whitetail doe deer have enjoyed this setup. Recoil is much less than compared to the .44. One thing I noticed real quick is that you need to rest the front of the frame/trigger guard on the bags NOT the barrel............to keep consistent groups.
