Take loins or hams and slice into thin slices (1/8" thick at the most) Be sure to get all the grissle out. Usually takes a few hours to go through a deer (loins and hams), throw the shoulders in the burger pile. Time spent on preparation of deer makes the difference. Do this in the morning.
Find a few packs of meat marinade(I like McCormicks) and a bottle or two of italian dressing. I think one pack of marinade does 3 lbs of meat. One big bottle of dressing will do a 100 lb doe.
Put the thin sliced deer in the dressing and mix in the proper amount of marinade(guessing is close enough). Soak it for atleast 6 hrs, stirring helps.
Cut up some onions in chunk sizes, and sliced or whole baby mushrooms, along with a few sliced green peppers. Through in some chunk pineapple if you like(Not my favorite, but it's not really that bad)
Put it all in a grilling basket (or three). I like the onions on the outside to get them done. Layer of deer, peppers, onions, mushrooms. Cook till deer is done, usually about 20 minutes, depends how full you loaded the grill baskets.
Call about 15 buddies(or 8 with wives, 4-5 with wives and kids) and serve with some mashed taters, beans, and loaf bread. __________________
