I hunt a power line in my backyard. Saw a nice doe at 145 yds. to the East. I have 2 DMP's. Decided as long as it was only the second afternoon of season I would pass on the big doe. Looked back to the west where most of the deer cross the powerline and saw nothing. A couple minutes later I saw a deer where the doe was. I thought if its the same doe I might shoot. I put my savage ML out the window of my hunting shanty and saw it was a nice buck. I was surprised.Shot and it fell in its tracks. 10 pt. 197 fiels dressed.
