How sad , i wish them well. I dont know what the background is but i know I love my angel, she is my life. I know someday her or I will be in that place of concern. I like many do not want to face it. Again I am sympathetic.

We have had a wonderful marriage of over 59 years but that doesn't make it any easier to see a mate suffer and to accept the reality that if we live we must die. Thanks for the prayers. We don't get our wishes but it would be my wish to go first. But then I think of how she would be hurt and think that going at the same time would be the best. We don't make these decisions but are expected to handle whatever happens. A bright spot is that our Daughter Teresa is taking care of us both right now. She was a nurse for over 30 years and is a great comfort to us both. Another bright area is that we are not having to do without medicine or health care and not in a financial bind. I feel so bad for people who have to fight health problems and must worry about their inability to pay for care. I am a worry wart type and always look for the worst and hope for the best. May God Bless you all. He sure has blessed us for a lifetime. Ben

Ozark
Just caught up with this thread and can only say I am so sorry to hear of this development. I wish there is something I could say comforting but am at loss for words. Yes it is heart breaking to see someone who we hold dear experiencing suffering and not knowing what the end result will be. I can only offer prayer in this time of need and supporting do so.

:)I've met Ben and his lovely wife. They are a very nice couple, and that's an understatement. Life goes thru phases that are impossible to really understand until we, ourselves, go thru them. I feel for Ben and his family. Thanks, Rusty for the heads-up, and I know many on this board will be praying for both. Steve

Ozark..... My heart and my prayers go out to you and your wonderful wife. It's a heartbreaking experience to see someone you love so dearly physically slip away. Jesus deals with this heartache in the gospel of John......
[John 11: 25]... "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die."
Yes it's true , we'll all face physical death someday ..... But for those who have put their trust in the Lord Jesus there is eternal hope beyond the grave....I pray that you and your family will find comfort in the promises of Christ that He sets before us....Stand strong in the Lord. Zen
