Here is a spent bullet recovered from a black bear. A Federal classic 210 grain bullet from a 41 Remington Magnum. It weighed 199 grains, about 95% weight retention. Looks pretty good, right? Here is the point of entry. The bear was already on the ground after a killing shot to the neck. Perhaps this explains the lack of blood shot meat. And here is the inside of the rib cage. Please note the broken and smashed ribs. Everything is not always as it can be made to appear. Choose your bullets well. I have several hundred rounds of gopher ammunition.
