Over the Holidays I found time to finish this book and as promised I would honestly give my review of this IMO wonderful book.
One of the things I enjoyed about this book is the simplicity of following Jakes Life from Childhood to Adulthood. The Author did a great job in this area without cluttering information of every little aspect of this person’s life. By going a more direct route with noted points as time passed my interested was captivated and encouraged to keep tagging along for what awaited in Jakes Life.
Another point I have made in a previous passing comment is that I found a part of Jake inside me. The love for the Outdoors where adventures and even sanctuary was found in the wilderness. The Author revealed Jake who was also a unique individual that chose his own path in life but when forced to respond or confront a responsibility or difficulty he accepted what needed to be done. A lesson a lot of us need to be reminded of in difficult times.
All in all I consider it an excellent read and will probably read it again. Also a special Thanks to Ozark for providing me with a copy that has in a way enriched my life.
