I just got home from the gun store with a ruger 50th anniversary 44mag super blackhawk.
The gun was lying in the consignment shelf and looked as if it had never been fired. I don't know that for sure but those are the appearances.
I have been looking for a large hunting handgun for a while. I had been hoping to find a ruger super blackhawk hunter in 41 mag, but I would have settled for 44 mag, or 45lc.
Now I am going to really have some collectors and purists upset because this baby is going deer hunting.
For the best part of all the gun, with the red hard case, and all the original paperwork (owners manual, registration, little book on the 44 mag, etc) were all less than $370.00.

got a steal there.
Years ago I bought a matched pair of Browning 71 High Grades. My buddy stopped by as I was cleaning them up, and after wiping his drool off of them, I grabbed a box of shells, said come on, might as well baptize them right now.
We still shoot both of those rifles 1-2 times a year, just need to take them hunting sometime.
