Hello, I just bought a T/C Pro Hunter with a12 gauge 3" rifled barrel. Does anyone know what type of slugs shoot the best out of this gun? Also, will shooting 2-3/4" shells affect the accuracy considering it has a 3" chamber? Any information will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

One of the guys in the shop has one, all he's ever shot is the 2 3/4" Lightfields thru it. I've seen his 100yd targets and very accurate, but they are a brick after that.
I have the standard 20ga version and it's a laser with the 3" Barnes/Federals.

Thanks for the info Al. I guess I'll try the 2 3/4" Lightfields next. I tried the 2 3/4" Remington Copper Solids and they did not group well at all. If the Lightfields don't work I'll Try the 3" Barnes but not looking forward to the additional recoil of the 3 incher.

I got one that I have never shot... But the guy I bought it from swears that he could shoot a 6inch balloon at 175 yds till his arm got tired. I got to thinking how bad it was gonna kick and sold it to my son and bought a 20. Now I got both ...I know the 20 likes wwplatinum premier series. A 3/4 group the first time I took it out. I cant get anything to shoot the 3inch stuff. None of my guns seem to like them. I just went to the range today with a 20ga Ultra slugger.. Tried barnes in 23/4 and 3 but the 23/4 flew the best. didnt like sst.. Then through 3 lightfields down at 100 yds. 2 in the same whold the other 3/4 away... Go figure! Every gun likes something ........Just finding what it is.
