This old man is beaming. Tears are just my constant companion for the last few days.
I had the privilege to baptize my 16 y/o grandson this past Saturday. I baptized my son (his uncle, my only boy) many years ago, my only two. The preacher (at the time) baptized my girls.
He came from South Carolina and wanted his Papaw to do it. He felt it was time.
I can't even begin to describe what I felt. May God help him live a good and long life.
Thanks for letting me share my joy.

It is a great honor and very overwhelming feeling to baptize family. I baptized my children many years past and a few months ago my granddaughter. I felt as if heaven was coming down.
Blessings

that was great news, It seems in this world we hear about all the bad things but not very often do we hear about the good things. I pray that the Lord will lead and guide your grandson, You have something to give thanks for, thanks for sharing your good news with us, that is a great way of giving us all hope, DOUGLAS
