I am new to Doug's. I mean to wish goodwill to other members, I pick GreenHorn because of my lack of knowledge and experience to the muzzle loading world . I joined Doug's because I am amazed at the shared knowledge that is here. I live in Florida and our whitetail rut runs in late January to the end of February. Next year when that time comes, I want to be more prepared. I own a remington700ml,.50cal.,a cva optima .50 cal., and a optima pro .45 cal. . I am very interested in the savagemlii and am planning on purchasing one . All the different loads and tips on tweaking that gun on Doug's gives me inspiration about the potentially superior accuracy and energy that can be obtained from a muzzle loader. Since I am from Fl. ,Pensacola Beach, I have extensive knowledge of saltwater fishing, from trout and redfish to yellowfin tuna. I am definitely not green to fishing. My favorite species is Cobia. Anyway, if anyone wants to drop me PM on any useful info.,I am all ears and will always give you my 2 cents worth on most any subject. Thanks for reading my HELLO and GOD BLESS AMERICA !!!

Welcome. Our forum has many members that can advise you in depth on the Savage Ml. We also have several other areas of interest. Some of these might be of interest to you. In fact, If it has to do with hunting or fishing there is an area to serve that purpose. Although we enjoy helping others, we enjoy discussing many subjects. The tips and hints section serves many new comers but don't hesitate to ask any questions you have or to state your opinion on posts others have started. Again, welcome. Ozark
