I was hoping someone knew if there was somewhere I could get a Breech Plug Wrench for a ML-10. I had bought mine new and my uncle bought one used that didn't have it. Wouldn't mind getting a spare as well.
Thanks in advance

I have an aftermarket wrench that has the old-style notches and a 3/8" hex nut that a machinist friend made me. All you need is a small box wrench to turn it. He might be able to make you one for $15.00 or so. The great thing about it is you don't have to remove the bolt to remove the breech plug.
I can post a picture if you're interested.

Jon,
I'm out-of-town this weekend; when I get back on Monday I'll post some detailed pics for you and contact my friend. I forgot to mention that the part is also knurled so that you can twist the wrench with your fingers as well and use the wrench for final tightening/initial loosening.

I made this one in about 15 min. using a 1/4" drive 7/16" 12 point socket. It works great with Pete's breechplug

Thanks Everyone. I like the idea of not having to remove the Bolt. Going to try and make something like you have longrider

Hey guys...back from a trip to West Virginia. I went to preach at a small church there that is a member of our denomination. My wife and I had a really great time...it's fun to travel to other places and preach!
Anyhow, here is the tool. The first picture shows the tool itself and the second shows the tool with a 3/8 inch box wrench attached.

Jon, That plug fits my Rem. 700 with the Double-D Pac-nor .458 barrel. It is made by Pete of PA Machine Co. Pete also offers a few different ones for the Savage ML II. here is a pic of the rem. and a savage next to the factory plug
