Just got the mount back from Jake Hairrell at Watts Bar Wildlife Artistry. He looks right at home with this snow we've been having this winter.

Good price, Iam having my first mount done this year and it is $400 in NW Indiana! But it is likely a once in a lifetime buck for me with many memorable traits. Jay

Congrats on the trophy!!! I read your story in the success story section. Who would have believed that you shot him with a "muzzleloader" at over 200yds. That deer has what I call alot of character not to mention scoreable points. If you ever have him scored I would be interested in how good he is. Tight Groups and no hangfires, Allan "GREENHORN"

The background makes that mount my all time favorite. So realistic and natural. Fine mount.

I took that picture with the mount hanging on a tree beside the deck at the rear of my house. I commonly see deer right in those woods you're looking at but never hunt them....they're my pets. I hunt elsewhere.

Just got the mount back from Jake Hairrell at Watts Bar Wildlife Artistry. He looks right at home with this snow we've been having this winter. I have had deer processed at Jake's. After seeing your deer's picture I may let him mount my next one. Mike

Nice Deer and Nice Mount, we must live close. I've had Jake do a couple for me over the years. I have a 13 I got over at Smith Bend before TWRA took over. My Great Uncle farmed that land for 20 years.

I shot this deer just down the road about a mile from Watt's Bar Dam. I've been on a lease there for the past 13 years. This was my best there but I've taken several 8 and 9 pointers in past years. There was one shot in the same area a few years back that was much better than this one.

Yes we are close, I live over in Madisonville. I just got on a lease over near Dayton. I've been over in West TN for the past 5 years. 5 1/2 hours driving and no control over the land and timber cutters there every time you go, got old. Good luck this year, you know there are good deer on your lease!

I will get some pictures up of mine in a day or two. I got my 13 point mount back a couple weeks ago too. Yours looks nice!! I was impressed with my mount. Specially for being FREE!!! I won the buck pot at work and first and second prize is a free mount by a local guy that has won several national awards, and he works for the company from my understanding. mine doesn't have the mass yours does but he has really long tines. I called it an 11 point but he was scored as a 13.

13 point......I live in Athens which is my hometown but in the past have lived in both Madisonville and Dayton. Years back when working with TVA fisheries I lived up on the mountain above Dayton back before Whelen Woman who I've had for 30 years now.....so it's been a while. I had a Chiropractic office in the Norman Lee Real Estate Building in Madisonville for a lot of years.
cfvickers.....Show us that mount when you get pictures. I like the price.
