this buck was shot on a ranch in Ohio by a guy named Joe Byrd with his MLII. here is his load and pics. found this on K Warrens face book page. Used 42 grains of IMR 4759 with a 250 grain TC Shockwave...can't remember the manufacturer of the sabot, but it's the one that Savage recommends. I love my ML II. Bought it two years ago. Savage has revolutionized muzzleloading with this gun. Correct me if I'm wrong Keith, but I believe the shot was around 135-138 yards.

Very nice. I noticed the scope mounts also. Are they not the type that you can see the iron sights too?

Sure looks like it. I wonder if you has to put his chin on the stock to see through the scope?
