After using Mac's Ramrod for the entire season I give it a five star thumbs up. Handy, sturdy...The scabbard is well designed and works like a charm....Thanks Mac Zen

Just to clarify, Mac makes the rods and I make the sleeves. We are not affiliated. We just collaborate ideas from time to time. Thanks LittleJoe

Andy, I got one from Mac last week also. Had him sew two loops on the backside so I could slip my sling thru it. I have a baaaaad habit of forgetting things, namely ramrods, but works slick now!! Ha. After the one shot I realized that in chasing over to where the deer were I'd left the ramrod with my backpack as I had pants with no belt loops on that morning. Good thing no followup was needed! This also makes me think about the noise it makes unfolding on the youtube video.

The 100 on the way will be black in color and cut to several different barrel profiles. Many custom options available including with or without sight channel and fancy grade materials. Also custom cuts for Pacnors etc. Thanks , LittleJoe Price? Also, does this fit over the barrel or flush with the crown?

muzzleman If I'm not mistaken Mac would sell them sized to fit a spin jag length wise, the threads were compatible

If not let me know. I can make you ramrods in .380, 9mm (.355) and .340 diameters. Both collapsible and one-piece, brass or aluminum tips, 10-32 or 8-32 threads (most ramrod tips for .40 and smaller are 8-32).

Mac called me, he's not making these any more. He did give me some good info on how to make your own.
The starting point is getting your hands on Easton .380 anodized aluminum rods, usually they are tent poles. After that Mac said he can hook me up with the end hardware.

XTR. Keep us informed the end hardware is the hard part in my mind? I have one of his original camo. rods that I think he made from arrow shafts? I would like to get one of the upgraded units with the black shafts. If I'm not mistaken Luke sells a similar rod?

I already have the Easton rods and I usually make my own tips, palm savers vary.
